The position is responsible for developing Magnum equipment for subsea applications.   This position is responsible for concept design and detail engineering to meet functional requirements, customer specifications and industry standards.  Strong technical design experience with a good understanding of interfaces with vessels, wellheads, controls, umbilicals, ROV’s and similar equipment is required.

Candidate will be responsible for leading design team, conducting design reviews, writing test & operational procedures, leading in-plant and Site Integration Testing and interfacing with customer and third party suppliers.  The successful candidate must be able to travel internationally and work onboard rigs.

Other key requirements include:

• an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
• strong technical experience in mechanical engineering;
• must have experience and good understanding of subsea operations. Candidate for Senior Subsea Engineer position must have min 3 years subsea experience, leading at least 1 project as Primary Subsea Engineer;
• logical and strong analytical thinking;
• good spoken and writing skills;
• knowledge and proficiency in CAD and Analysis software, preferred;
• project management experience, preferred; and
• must be able to work and lead design team form different cultural backgrounds.
