Develop and drive the Quality Program for Magnum Subsea Systems
through continuous improvements to consistently deliver defect-free
products, systems and excellent services, on time.
Candidate will have responsibility for management of the QA
organization and the execution of quality-related activities in the
company. He/she shall provide leadership on QA matters to
cross-functional departments and teams, to uphold and achieve the
objectives of the company’s quality policy through the
establishment, monitoring and analysis of systematic quality
measurements.
The potential candidates will undertake any or all of the
following:
- Responsible for development and maintenance of quality programs
to ISO 9001 and API Spec Q1 standards;
- Conduct audits and coordinate activities for certification of
quality system by recognized independent bodies;
- Evaluate and respond to quality requirements in tenders or
orders;
- Formulate quality plans to meet customer requirements;
- Coordinate and manage customer representatives or Independent 3rd
party inspectors for inspection activities;
- Must be a team player, working with cross-functional teams to
achieve quality objectives;
- Lead review of quality program and to recommend action plans to
management.
- Qualification and experience requirements:
- Basic engineering degree in mechanical disciplines eg Mechanical
Engineering, Offshore Engineering etc;
- American Society of Quality (ASQ), Chartered Quality Institute
(CQI) and International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA)
certifications will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques is
required;
- Min 5 yrs experience in quality assurance with min 2 yrs in
supervisory or management position, preferably in the metal working
industry. Experience in the oilfield industry will be an advantage;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Able to lead QA team
- Knowledge of ISO and API specifications
